I'm always bizarrely fascinated by the things people buy at the grocery store/Walmart/etc. I occupy myself in line by looking at the people around me and trying to figure out what they're up to. I have no idea why the people in front of me today needed a cherry cheesecake, a bottle of hairspray, and four cans of tennis balls. But I think I'd like to know. =) Or maybe not...

I bought beer and Xmen, Everyone knows what I'm doing tonight. If only it involved Hugh Jackman in person, in those leather trousers...

Ah, well.

New cd, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear. *Like you care* 1) I'm glad I finally found the burner on this computer. 2) I need more guy musicians; any suggestions?

An interesting cross selection there....

Unfortunately I only get to listen to Country music... Work ties up a lot of my time, and when my car stereo got "borrowed" I never got around to replacing it... So unless you're interested in acquiring Garth Brooks or Dwight Yoakam, I can't be much help... So I'll stop wasting your time by making you read further... so stop reading and get on with your life... I mean it... stop reading... away with you... stop it! I'm going to count to three... one... two... three... dammit! you're still reading! etc etc etc etc etc

Can't. Help. But. Read...message is inescapable black hole! =)

I listen to some country, esp. around my folks, but not very often. I love me some Garth, but Dwight makes me want to put a pencil through my ear. He needs to stick to movies to make me happy. =)

Nope, it's just...Jezebel. I went on a DLing spree and it popped up. It doesn't sound like it's a misnamed song that I've heard before, but I can't swear to that. *shrugs*

Yeah, a very odd collection of music, but sooo good. I'm in love with Emilie Autumn's How Strange right now. I <3 the hell out of it. Gary Jules and Vienna Teng were recs from [livejournal.com profile] meiko_belle and they're pretty good.

The Butch and Ani songs are live cuts with funny intros, and Four Star Mary's Dilate kicks ass. =)

Mystery solved. It is called Jezebel, it just isn't Poe. *grins sheepishly* It's 10,000 Maniacs.

Now that I listen to it, it doesn't really sound much like Poe, but it doesn't really sound like Natalie Merchant either. I'm horrible with IDing people based on voice. Anyway, it's still a kick-ass song, even if it isn't Poe. *pouts*

Yes, more 10,000 Maniacs is good. "Because the Night" rocks greatly. I like Natalie Merchant in small doses. =)
