I want to lock it all up in my pocket; it's my bar of chocolate!

I am going to turn into a mole. I can already tell that squinting at book titles sideways for four hours and then walking out into the sunshine is going to be an... interesting experience. I have fairly pale blue eyes, and they doesn't like the light, preciousss.

Still, job going very well. I shelved more kids (I can tell they're gonna put me there), non-fiction, sci-fi (!) and romance (gag noise). I was sorely tempted to get Truly, Madly, Viking, as you can well imagine. ;)

Added several more books to my discount wish list; we were short of space in the Euro/Brit history section, and I was like "I'll take care of that problem for ya." So far, I want Sorcery and Cecilia, the Wizard of Earthsea books, more Alison Weir, and the Theodore Rex biography series. Plus plenty I can't remember, I'm sure. =)

I have declared today Finish Unpacking Odds and Ends Day. Wish me luck. Probably ought to get some class reading done, as well. Much FB and some beta work. Damn.

I'm always bizarrely fascinated by the things people buy at the grocery store/Walmart/etc. I occupy myself in line by looking at the people around me and trying to figure out what they're up to. I have no idea why the people in front of me today needed a cherry cheesecake, a bottle of hairspray, and four cans of tennis balls. But I think I'd like to know. =) Or maybe not...

I bought beer and Xmen, Everyone knows what I'm doing tonight. If only it involved Hugh Jackman in person, in those leather trousers...

Ah, well.

New cd, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear. *Like you care* 1) I'm glad I finally found the burner on this computer. 2) I need more guy musicians; any suggestions?
