Whatcha gonna do?
Apr. 18th, 2003 02:45 pmPosting from work and feeling like a total Bad Girl, even though I know they don't really care what I do. I'm a little pissy right now 'cause I just got back the latest version of the Parent Evaluation survey I've been drafting for a MONTH and they want me to re-design the whole thing. They keep asking for more and more "please check this box" and less opportunities for actual insight, but yet somehow the survey just keeps getting longer. I just want to say that nobody's going to answer this survey, hell, I probably wouldn't answer the survey they want me to write. The one I have now is a good balance of open- and close-ended questions, and the length isn't too bad. What a mess! Grargh!
In other news, its a beautiful day, even though the pollen count is well above 4000. The US estimate of a maximum healthy pollen count is around 120. God, I love Atlanta in the spring. =) Everything I own has a vaguely yellow tint to it.
I have decided that my big project for the summer will be reading Sushi's Civil War series all the way through. I've read most of the smaller bits and pieces that go with it, but not the actual 26-odd chapter monster fic itself. Also, I will catch up on Underwater Light and finally read Love Under Will. A small kink in this plan is a possible lack of high-speed, or frankly any, internet connection, but if I have to load it all onto disks and plug it into my ever-more-feeble laptop, so be it. See, I feel better already. =)
