Was a fire drill tonight at the dorm. Several of the firemen were quite attractive. Sweet dreams. ;)

So pissed off right now, you wouldn't even believe. I'm about fed up with the whole idea of playing trivia. A mutual friend of mine and thepsychicclam's has brought her boyfriend the last several weeks. No one likes this guy except the girl who dates him. As usual, he totally took over the trivia, basically ignoring anything Rachel and I had to say. Rachel and Devon finally just jumped ship and moved over to a different table with some other friends, but I figured I'd stick it out so Ellen was left alone. Big Mistake. At the end of the night, we were dividing the check, and I put my share on my check card, but forgot to add in the tax and automatic gratuity. The boy acted like I was trying to fleece him for some huge amount of money, when it was three or four dollars at most, Rachel and Devon had chipped in some, and I had paid for a half a pitcher of beer but only drank half a glass. He was acting like he was so magnanimous and shit. Fuck this! Trivia is supposed to be about fun and friends. I'm not going to spend any more time hanging out with people who annoy me when I'm trying to relax. [thus endeth my rant]

I made Phi Beta Kappa; I'm so excited. I had actually thought about it earlier in the week, but figured my grades weren't good enough or I just didn't stand out enough. My folks will be really pleased as well. I;m turning in my apps for FSU and UTKnoxville next week; hopefully I'll get in somewhere. =)

Ok, gonna go read some fic, maybe watch a nice Alan Rickman movie, and destress. I am a happy girl, lalala. maybe if I say it enough times, I'll believe it.
