My own little Customers Suck entry...

I had someone argue, seriously argue, with me today about whether we were open on Saturday. He called in to renew his books this afternoon (2.5 hours into my 3 hour reference shift) and I go "okay, they were due on the 29th; now they're due on the 15th of December." Simple enough, yeah?

Then he goes "but you guys weren't open on the 29th!" And proceeds to repeat this at intervals as I point out that 29th was Saturday and we were open. Yes, we were. All day. Because I was here, that's why. Yes, me personally. Here all day, 9 to 6.

It would have been 100% funny if he hadn't been so aggressively certain that I was in the wrong, even as I was hanging up the phone after a good five minutes of this.

I wish we hadn't been open on Saturday. Then I wouldn't have had to work sick, while my team was pissing away a football game and someone threw up in the computer lab.

And eww, barf. Someone did the technicolor yawn in the parking lot when we were voting. I guess the excitement was just too much. I can't see that in the computer lab, though. Too much exciting porn?

Heh, god help us all. =) No, just a sudden upset tummy I think, unless he decided to get drunk and then work on a school report. Poor boy, he looked ready to sink through the floor.
