My cat is stoned.
Jul. 18th, 2004 07:03 pmI got her two new scratching pads, and my mom bought her one of those mice in a circular track that goes round and round. All three objects are were loaded with catnip.
The cat is lying dazed on the couch with a look that says "bring me some salmon treats and turn on Animal Planet."
I love having my mom up to visit, but it's awfully hard on my budget. We sit and gab, and then go see a movie or something... and then comes the shopping. We're good bargain hunters separately, but together we're lethal. As my bank statement will now report.
So I'm on thin rations until fall loans come through. Though considering the amount of leftover takeout in my fridge, I may not need to get groceries until then anyway. ;)
Apparently it has been decreed that I shall be a Fables addict; this comic series is fabulous, and over the course of the last week the first three collected volumes have pretty much fallen into my hands (mostly at discount, thank heavens). Now I just have to figure out how to get the back issues from 19 to 24, which is the current. Any ideas,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Going to go watch my netflixed Midsomer Murders eppie (Troy...and his hair!) and then try and check the FL I've been ignoring all weekend. Yikes.
