Have you read Diana Williams's story incorporating pederasty into HP, "The Courtship of Harry Potter"? Its quite nice and well researched. You make chain mail, right? Always glad to meet a fellow history buff, especially an ancient history one. I've been trying to finish Mary Renault's Fire From Heaven all semester, and I suspect that's what "Alex" is based on. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but it should be interesting at the very least, with Baz Luhrmann leading the pack. =)
