Others lie, lie, lie; they adore you.

*does a happy-back-online dance*

Went to Circuit City today and procured both the receipt which allowed me to order a replacement monitor and an Ethernet adaptor which enables me to hook my old laptop up to Comcast.

It was a good day. =) Of course, this laptop is pretty damn slow, but at this point I really don't give a damn, b/c it's internet at home, so I can read slash do homework.

I'm also getting a lot of amusement out of the old links I have on this thing. Impermanence of the internet in action, I tell you.

I got my hair dyed since I'm going home tomorrow and my mom threatened me with dire consequences if my roots were still showing. I dunno what she's going to think of this though.

Honestly, I don't know what I think of it. B/c of the dye layers I had in it before this, she ended up doing some overall brunette dye, with blonde and red highlights. Only, they aren't the most subtle things in the world, so my hair is kind of... striped. *shrugs*

Anyway, off to catch up on a week's worth of LJ. I have read [livejournal.com profile] resonant8's great trio smut, and [livejournal.com profile] florahart's as well. =)

Hee, my hair is stripey too! We'll just tell everyone we're emulating tabby cats.

You know, I had just that thought in the car this afternoon. =) Sounds like a perfectly good line of reasoning to me.

snort. The last time my mom threatened me with dire consequences it was that I wasn't to be having any more babies after the last time went so worryingly (am still thinking. Have been for 8 years now), or she's come down and strangle me herself and save the worry.

She's comPLETEly given up on me not having roots showing, or hair a color that doesn't make her gulp and shudder. Hee.

Oh, my mom hates that I dye my hair red in the first place, so she just harps on me for not doing it often enough. =)

Plus, she gave me $$ for this particular dye job as an early birthday present, so I'll feel a little bad if she hates it.

Also, your mom sounds justified on your account, even if having one's reproductive tendencies dictated is a bit much. ;)
