Have you been here before; shall I show you around?

I have a place to live! This makes me very happy, even if said place has no internet access and no cable. Summer TV sucks anyway, so I'll just watch all the DVDs I've been neglecting this semester. Computer is a slightly more important issue, but I'm thinking of getting a wireless card if its worth the expense. Anyone have any experience with those?

We're still under a tornado watch, as we have been for the last week. I dreamed last night of floods and smyself singing really really badly at an important occasion. That'll teach me to watch the Weather Channel and VH1 Divas before going to bed. =)

Random question: Since when does my personal opinion that I'm a big ole' nerd like Hermione constitute the basis for an academic discussion of woman in slash fiction? Grr, leave me alone random scary people; I'm just talking to talk.

Five o'clock, time for dinner. I'll give you a topic: College Students, Pavlov's dog's. Discuss amongst yourselves.

I'm a just a girl in the world

Mmm, late-night exam breakfast is yummy. Sometimes I love my school, especially when the faculty and staff go out of their way to do something nice. Where else would the Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life serve you pancakes at 11pm?

General Note: when partaking of a communal showering facility such that offered by a college dorm, leaving your nasty-ass granny panties on the floor in front of the door is NOT acceptable behavior. Posting a snarky note to that same effect just outside the bathroom is hilarious.

Off to be semi-productive now, by which I mean that I will be attempting to find the livejournal of a scary girl who lives down the hall. I bet she's a fucking freak. =) Am wondering what people in RL would think of my LJ. Heh.

Ewan McGregor is a beautiful man. I want to lick him.
